Students from Dr. Brian Richardson's graduate consulting class provided communication training to several organizations in the DFW area. These included Levi Fisher and Adrian Tam who conducted a "team building" workshop for Meals on Wheels in Fort Worth. Laura Puentes and Emily Maly worked with New Friends New Life in Dallas, facilitating a session on inter-generational communication. Finally, Trevor Holcombe, Palmar Johnson, and Kendrick Frost, provided a workshop on "having challenging conversations" with employees at Hill & Wilkson General Contractors in Richardson. "The students put a lot of time and effort into developing training sessions that emphasized the importance of communication in the workplace," Dr. Richardson said. "I am confident both the students and the organizations benefitted from this experience."
