We had three teams go to the Spring TIFA state contest this weekend and compete in parliamentary debate. This was our first year of membership to TIFA and our Mean Green teams did fantastic.

Many of us joke about how rhetorical studies ruins pleasure. Dr. Enck, however, argues "we used this article to demonstrate how rhetorical studies can enable us to problematize what we find pleasurable in the media, but without dismissing the entire enterprise of popular culture as an arena for challenging us all to live together better."
