Multiple Choices: a "Grade A" performance

Directed by Andrea Lovoll and assistant directed by Travis Williams, Multiple Choices is a performance that reflects on the testing culture that exists as a result of No Child Left Behind. The script is largely based in research completed on the UNT campus during student and instructor interviews and focus groups.

The performance debuted last weekend and had a very successful turnout. The latter half of the performance called for audience participation in the theater style of Augusto Boal, in which the performance "rehearses the future." Audience members were encouraged to take the stage and pose a solution. Many audience members participated at all showings of the performance and provided much discussion for the talkback immediately following the performance.

Great job and congratulations to the directors Andrea Lovoll and Travis Williams and to the stellar cast including students Flora Ceka, Ricky Roque, Daniel Snell, and Rebecca Taylor!
