Richie Escovedo (B.A. 1999), Account Director and Public Relations Specialist at the Balcom Agency, spoke to NCA Future Pros members on Monday. Richie detailed his career in public relations, provided advice for breaking into the industry, and discussed how his Communication Studies degree has helped in his professional endeavors. He also spoke fondly of his experience at UNT, particularly proposing to his wife Kristen (Walker) Escovedo in one of his Performance Studies classes!

This year's officers were also introduced at the meeting. They are (left to right) Ian Etheridge (Marketing Specialist), Emily Perez (Marketing Specialist), Dr. Brian Richardson (faculty advisor), Maggie Myers (Vice President, Membership), and Alex Harlow (President). The next NCA Future Pros meeting is scheduled for Nov. 1 in GAB 310 and will feature Liz Haas, Director of Communications at Lewisville Independent School District.
