Student Workspace - GAB 301
The Student Workspace is open to all Communication Studies majors, as well as all students in Communication Studies classes. The space features a smart TV, a Cricut for creating elaborate cutouts, and many craft supplies. Students can collaborate on group projects and work on poster presentations with our wide variety of materials available for use. A student assistant is available to assist with Cricut projects. Equipment is available for personal use when otherwise unoccupied if personal materials are used.
The Student Workspace is open for use during the fall, spring, and summer semesters, Monday-Friday, 10:00am-5:00pm.
Research Space - GAB 327
Faculty, graduate students, and research assistants utilize this department research office for various activities related to research projects, including the collection and analysis of data. Research supplies available for use in this space include video recorders, digital voice recorders (with phone recording capabilities), TV, DVD player and a computer (primarily for data collection). This office houses a large, comfortable work space that can be configured in a variety of ways for data collection.
The Research Space is open for reservation during UNT's office hours from Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
