Congratulations to our very own Kara Ottinger for receiving the University of North Texas Star Performer Award! This award is bestowed upon those employees who have made exceptional contributions in assisting UNT meet its strategic goals, while demonstrating its core values. In her nomination letter, Kara was recognized as the creative force behind the Communication Studies department's three consecutive homecoming decoration contests wins, streamlining office practices, and for increasing and enhancing our social media presence. As a Star Performer, Kara will receive a much-deserved extra day of paid vacation and will be invited along with other award winners to the next President's Staff Sack Lunch with President Smatresk.
