Congratulations to Dr. Brian Lain, who received the 'Fessor Graham award for the second time! The award is the highest honor given by the student body and is presented by the Student Government Association to a faculty member for outstanding service to students.

Dr. Lain previously received the award in 2014 and is only the second faculty member in the history of the award to be honored twice.

Dr. Suzanne Enck, chair of Communication Studies, applauds Dr. Lain's never-ending efforts to make learning "engaging, creative, and fun. Ranging from toga day in COMM 2140 where the students re-create early debates amongst the Sophists to Study Abroad classes (Ireland last Spring and an upcoming class in Japan during Summer 2025), Dr. Lain is always looking for ways to develop high-impact teaching practices. UNTCOMM is lucky to have him in our department!"
