This Fall, students in Dr. Brian Richardson's graduate-level Organizational Communication course partnered with local organizations and businesses as part of their group projects. Emily Boldt, Payton Clark, and Garret Zettel, collaborated with the Denton Animal Shelter for a study about organizational change. Zane Dayton, Rowdy Farmer, and Jonathan Tolj, worked with Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home for a research project on organizational culture. Kimberly Berry, Ruth Fajardo, and Shannon Johnson partnered with Selerix on a study to learn more about employee engagement. Finally, Caitlin Taylor worked on a study of teaching assistant stress for the Communication Studies department. "I could not be more proud of these students," said Dr. Richardson. "They ventured outside their comfort zones, and in the process, offered great suggestions to each group's leaders based upon their studies."
